We received a message from the original printer that they will send new
print dates tomorrow. I have received 6 e-mail replies from the 22
requests for bids that we put out on Friday. We will wait for the bids
mailed today to come in and then check all of them against the new print
slot and cost from the original printer. We will give updates as we
have them.

The cynic in me says that the printers have offered you so many discounts by now that they are no longer interested in doing the work for the promised price — and that they would be quite happy to see you take the remaining work off their hands.
Did you get the many promised discounts in writing and as addenda to the original contract, or is it all handshakes and verbal promises? These guys have cost you a LOT of customer goodwill (from the tone of many of the comments here, it would appear that you are not going to have a very favorable response to any future cash-up-front game offers…).
I hope you have grounds to recover damages to your business from these guys’ many broken promises and rather shoddy treatment of you (continually bumping you to take new work from bigger fish).
