I had a brief meeting with the printer sales staff late this afternoon. Apparently a number of staff have been given time off due to the recent death of a former employee who was well known and that a great deal of overtime had been accumulated. It was apparently not connected to the recent Aurora Colorado tragedy. The staff I met with were not immediately able to give me a new printing schedule. They were sincerely apologetic and promised to let me know as soon as possible. While I did not doubt their sincerity, after I returned, we decided to put out the printing work for bid. We will keep you informed of progress.
Kinko’s. We’re not talking maps & counters here.
Thanks for the heads up..and you finially did something you should have done a long time ago regarding the printing..your better off getting a printer and doing it yourself
How long before the bids come back in one two or three months. What is your time limit and how about the names of some of these printing companies you are dealing with. Like to be included. Since I feel like an investor and business partner.
Hello,
Can you (like some other WW2 publishers) sell 2 versions of this game ?
(1) Full version : counters, maps, box, rules, OB’s, charts etc, for the maximum price
(2) Stripped version : counters, maps and password (password to download from the site the rules, OB’s and charts) for a lesser price. The customer can print all this stuff himself (our in a copy shop).
This is for both people involved (you and me and the other who are waiting) a win-win situation.
I understand that rules, etc are ready and in PDF-format. I also understand that the maps and counters are ready !
So where is the problem to do this ? It gives you immediatly money and everybody is happy.
Great business model. When there are errata’s we have them directly on the site too (living rules system).
Can you do this ?
